Congratulations!

Weighing in at an even seven pounds, William Whitley was born to Ed and Susie Whitley on the evening of February 7, 2008 at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.

The proud parents are happy, if somewhat sleepy, and they are pleased to report that baby William correctly identified the Cassatt poster that was hanging in the delivery room.

Welcome, David and Maria!

David Allan and Maria Murguia are the two newest members of the Bridgeman Art Library International.

Born and raised in New York City, David Allan has joined the Bridgeman Art Library's New York office tasked with developing new business opportunities. Prior to this David worked as a freelance photo editor for Newsweek Magazine and The New York Times. He first entered the photography business working for news picture agencies such as Sygma and Gamma Press.

A graduate of New York University's Film School, David spent the first years out of college working in film and television production, moonlighting as a musician in nightclubs around Manhattan.

Also, David has recently started drinking tea while at work for some inexplicable reason.
